The ceremony and reception are at different locations - what's the deal?

We are asking all of our guests join us at 5:00 PM for our ceremony, we will have a cocktail hour immediately following, and will all walk to our reception venue together! The walk is about 10 minutes - please contact Danielle if a transportation accommodation is needed.

Is there a dress code?

Wedding attire is festive cocktail. Think funky, fun patterns, bold colors, sequins encouraged- it's New Year's Eve! Wear something you're comfortable in but please no jeans and consider footwear for the walk to the reception.

Are kids welcome? Can I bring a date?

While we would love to include everyone - we have included details for children and plus ones on individual RSVPs. 

Additionally, it is also going to be a late party and we know babysitters in the area if you need a recommendation so parents can stay late to enjoy!

Will there be a shuttle?

We will not be providing a shuttle from the hotel to ceremony as it is in walking distance. Additionally, there is no parking at The Sommers' Residence but we will have golf carts for those in need of the accommodation. If you are driving we suggest parking at Hilton Phoenix Resort at the Peak.

How should I address the couple?

Danielle is not changing her name! Feel free to address the couple as husband/wife, Danielle/Joe, or Mr. Standerfer/Mrs. Bryant - hopefully Danielle will finish her dissertation soon and become Dr. instead.

What is the plan for weather?
